Look Incredible Deluxe Beauty Box January 2018 Review
Look incredible are a company that provide monthly ( Standard box is every two months, Deluxe box is every month) subscription boxes both standard (£25 pm) and deluxe (£35 pm). The monthly boxes contain 4/5 full sized beauty products. I'm subscribed to the deluxe box which contains brands such as Chanel, Dior, Tarte, Too Faced and many many more. £35 might seem like a lot but when the total product value for each deluxe box is usually between £90-£100+ it's a no brainer. Yet AGAIN they've really knocked it out the park this month. 3 out of the four things, I either needed the product or was looking into buying something from the brand. It's almost like they can read my mind.
Gucci Impact Long wear Eye Pencil in 020 Cocoa, £22:
I think this might just be the fanciest eyeliner I've ever owned, I mean it came with it's own Gucci embossed sharpener for god sake! I was in desperate need of another brown eyeliner and this deep dark brown fits the bill. All mine seem to constantly disappear, a bit like socks do, they're there one minute and gone the next. This eyeliner is everything I could have wished for. The intense formula is highly pigmented and stays soft on application for up to 30 seconds for blending and then quickly sets for a smudge resistant, waterproof finish.
Rating: 5/5
Lorac Riesling Romance Eye Shadow Palette, £35:
Lorac is a brand that I have been meaning to try for the longest time as I constantly hear good things. As you can imagine I was ecstatic to open the box and find this palette. On first use the shadows feel super soft, blend extremely well and are highly pigmented. From nudes to shimmers this palette is full of some of my favourite colours that really make my eyes pop. It's also small enough to travel with and has a large mirror too, perfect for on the go touch ups.
Rating: 5/5
My hair constantly has a mind of it's own, after a wash it's either dead straight or it will be super wavy, but not the good kind of wavy, it's in all the wrong places. I was happy to see Living Proof in this months box as everything I've previously tried from them has been brilliant. This product claims that it will enable you to create sleek, shiny and straight styles without the use of oils, resins or silicones. It can be applied to wet or dry hair and claims to extend your style for days. It contains Living Proofs breakthrough molecule, Aerosolized Plyfluoroester, which creates a weightless shield around the hair to prevent water from disrupting your straight style. I'm excited to see what this can do for my hair, and possibly report back in a future post!
*no rating as I've not yet tried the product however excitement rating is a solid 5/5*
Tarte Colour Splash Hydrating Lipstick in Set Sail, £20:
How strange is it that I was only thinking last night that it's probably about time I tried out some Tarte products, low and behold what did I find when I opened this months box? A Tarte lipstick, not only that but it's in one of my favourite colours to wear, a pinky brown nude. Before I get onto the formula I need a minute to talk about the packaging, I don't think it picks up that well in the photo but its bright blue and MARBLE. It's so stunning it literally took my breathe away. The texture of the lipstick is so soft and creamy that it's almost buttery. On your lips it leaves a velvety finish which I love. It's super hydrating and lines your lips to prevent feathering and bleeding. For not being a matte it stays on surprisingly well and even after use your lips still feel soft. I can already tell this is going to be a new favourite of mine.
